Hemostat Reagents, Controls and Calibrators

The HUMAN coagulation porfolio includes a broad range of commonly performed screening parameters, indicating medical disorders related to coagulation and fibrinolysis.
They are utilized for the assessment of a potential risk for bleeding and thrombotic events. Furthermore, coagulation parameters as D-dimer are utilized as risk indicator for the progression of inflammatory diseases, such as COVID-19.
Prothrombin Time (PT), offered lyophilized or liquid, is intended for the global assessment of the extrinsic coagulation pathway or for monitoring oral anticoagulant therapy with vitamin K antagonists, such as warfarin. The activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (aPTT) indicates Hemophilia A, B, and C and is applied for monitoring the therapy with unfractionated heparin (UFH).
Furthermore, HUMAN offers solutions for the determination of functional fibrinogen and the thrombin time.
Antithrombin and free Protein S are utilized as standard thrombophilia diagnostic parameters.

Applications are availabe for all HUMAN coagulation analyzers.

Hemostat Thromboplastinliquid is a highly sensitive reagent intended for the manual and automated determination of prothrombin time (PT) in liquid format. Due to its factor sensitivity it can be used to assay the activity of coagulation factors in the extrinsic and common pathway of coagulation (factors II, V, VII, and X).
